The Family of Black Stars captain Andre Ayew are set to hold a crisis meeting following the player’s omission from the Black Stars squad for the 2026 World cup qualifier against Mali and Central Africa Republic
The agenda of this meeting is to discuss the future of Andre Ayew who has been in some tremendous form for his French club Le Havre whom he scored 5 goals in 17 appearances.
Family Spokesperson Solar Ayew told Angle FM, the family intends to issue a statement on the development after the meeting.
Black Stars coach Otto Addo left out the 34 year old captain in his 26 man squad, and later told the media he had a lengthy conversation with Ayew to communicate his decision.
Ghana will face Mali on June 6 in Bamako, followed by a match against the Central African Republic on June 10 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
